Mark James Jr. was born and raised in Saint Augustine, Fl. He is the founder of “Nu Nation of Men Mentoring Program” established in 2015. Mr. James attended R.J. Murray Middle School from 1991 to 1993. He is a graduate of St. Augustine High School class of 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Mr. James serves as a corrections deputy with the St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the St. John’s County Black Democratic Caucus, and a member of the Prince Hall Mason’s of Mt. Horeb Lodge of St. Augustine, Florida.

Additionally, Deputy James Jr. serves as a member of the West Augustine Youth Development Team and coaches for the West Augustine Baby Jackets football team.
